Captain Splosh makes a splash

Attention! - Captain Splosh is marching into schools with bottles of water ready to win over armies of schoolchildren and convince them to drink more mains-fed water.

Anglian Water’s Water for Health campaign has been launched at three Primary Schools in the Anglian region.

Anglian Water is encouraging everyone to take a fresh look at water with its campaign, promoting the benefits of drinking tap water. Mains-fed water coolers and bottles at preferential rates are being offered to all schools in the region as well as teachers’ packs.

Head of Cosgrove Primary School Liz Behrens said: Healthy eating, nutrition and exercise are high on our agenda and we are really pleased that Anglian Water is helping us to reinforce this message and educate our children about the benefits drinking plenty of water can bring.

The super hero is a new life-sized mascot depicting a water drop, and is Anglian Water’s secret weapon in its new Water for Health Campaign in schools. He has been recruited to help deliver our new Captain Splosh education programme.
