How much water should I drink?

If you have a refillable bottle, try and drink'n'fill it 4 times a day.

You should try and drink between 6 and 8 glasses of water every day.

If it's hot or you've been doing a lot of physical activity, try and drink more.

 

Why is it important to drink water?

Almost 2/3 of your body is made up of water. just as you need to put petrol in a car to make it move, you need toput water into your body for the same reason. Your body needs water to keep its parts working, to cleanse it of toxins (bad substances) and to heal itself after accident or illness.

How do I know if I'm Dehydrated?

Dehydration is what happens when our bodies need more water.

One of the first signs can be HUNGER so have a drink first before having something to eat. Another sign is TIREDNESS so if you’re feeling sleepy, have a drink. If you have a HEADACHE the chances are you are dehydrated.
